Socials

Our socials programme includes a range of events, from pub nights, group outings to festivals and exhibitions, and our annual BBQ and Barn Dance. And if you'd like to venture a little farther afield, we also organise walking weekends.

To enjoy our socials and holidays you need to be a member of SURG, but you can get a taste of our social life by joining us for a drink at one of our regular Open Pub Nights. They're very informal, and a great chance to meet members of the group and find out more about us.

Summertime is here and the swinging is easy, with The Commitments and Sounds of the Blues Brothers. Good music, good food and drink. I can guarantee the music, you just bring the rest.

Pub Night For All!

Everyone welcome – old members, new members and prospective members alike. Meet up with your friends in the group, or if you don't know us, come along to find out more about SURG and what we do.

Join us for an evening at Earls Court sampling the finest Real Ales, Ciders and Perries that the UK has to offer.

SURG 10th Anniversary BBQ

For our extra special anniversary BBQ we'll have the usual good quality BBQ fare, organised events including a space-hopper relay race and obstacle course, a cake competition and a disco into the small hours. There is also an option to camp overnight.
