Socials
Our socials programme includes a range of events, from pub nights, group outings to festivals and exhibitions, and our annual BBQ and Barn Dance. And if you'd like to venture a little farther afield, we also organise walking weekends.
To enjoy our socials and holidays you need to be a member of SURG, but you can get a taste of our social life by joining us for a drink at one of our regular Pub Nights For All. They're very informal, and a great chance to meet members of the group and find out more about us.

I am once again leading my pub crawl around the wonderful East Sussex town of Lewes. Visiting such delightful pubs as: The Brewers Arms, Lewes Arms, Gardeners Arms and Snowdrop Inn to mention but a few. We can pay homage to the Harvey’s Brewery which dominates the town and is also known locally as Lewes Cathedral! Lunch and dinner may be obtained from some of the pubs and also shops en-route. Join me at the beginning or part way round (you can even slope off to do some shopping in the many small shops) just call my mobile to locate me. No boots needed as all walking will be on pavements and should not exceed about 3 miles in total.
