London Loop - Whyteleafe to Cheam

We will follow the London Loop from Whyteleafe, through Kenley
Airfield - the last of London's Battle of Britain fighter stations to survive
in it's WW2 form, across Happy Valley and Farthing Downs, via Coulsden and
Banstead Downs to Cheam. Pub stop for drinks only, bring packed lunch.
Please note that this is a linear walk - suggest parking in Cheam and
getting train to Whyteleafe.

Strenuous Walks for experienced country walkers with an above average fitness level. May include hills and rough country, and may be at a brisk pace. Walking boots and warm, waterproof clothing are essential. People in doubt about their fitness are advised to contact the organiser or leader in advance. |
