A pleasant walk from the Downlands Countryside Project through woodland and over chalk downland, with views across the Weald to the South Downs, and of Capability Brown parkland. Mostly fairly level but the route includes some steep slopes, steep steps, and chalk paths that can be slippery. Car park can be busy so allow time for parking. No lunch stop. Pub stop for drinks only.
