Alfriston Ale and Cider Trail

Join us for a picturesque walk in rural East Sussex visiting a selection of fine country pubs along the way. First stop will be the Sussex Ox at Milton Street, then it's off to The Smuggler's Inn at Alfriston. (Tea room option here and ice cream shops). From here we take the byway to Alciston and the Rose Cottage Inn. And finally to the Cricketer's at Berwick village before ending the trail back at Berwick Station. Packed lunch, pub lunch or tea room.

Moderate Walks for people with country walking experience and a good level of fitness. May include some steep paths and open country, and may be at a brisk pace. Walking boots and warm, waterproof clothing are essential. |

Strenuous Walks for experienced country walkers with an above average fitness level. May include hills and rough country, and may be at a brisk pace. Walking boots and warm, waterproof clothing are essential. People in doubt about their fitness are advised to contact the organiser or leader in advance. |

Technical Walks for experienced and very fit walkers with additional technical skills. May require scrambling and use of ropes, ice axes and crampons. You must contact the organiser or leader in advance for further details. |
