Summer Ball , Lewes - Brighton and Hove Ramblers
Brighton and Hove Ramblers are holding another Summer Ball this year on the 26th June at Pelham House Hotel in Lewes and have invited SURG members to join them.
Pelham House is a charming 16th century Tower hotel with wonderful views over the Downs. It's absolutely unique since it has the feeling of a lovely country mansion hotel even though it's just a few metres away from the High Street in Lewes and 5 mins walk from the station.
The dress code was initially set as black tie/formal , however it's going to be relaxed a little to allow people who wish to come in smart/casual. The choice is yours!
The price per person will be £40 . An upmarket BBQ menu will be served on the Terrace to the guests ( the food at the hotel restaurant is recommended by the Which Good Food Guide 2009). A disco will be held in probably the most charming function room at the hotel (the Terrace room) which leads out onto the Terrace itself.
If any of your members are interested they would be very welcome :-), it's predominantly a 20s-40s affair.
A £10 deposit will be needed to secure each place.
