August 2011
Quite a short newsletter this month - thanks again to all who helped out at this year's BBQ, and especially to Paul for organising the entertainment and Karen for helping with the preparations.

Advance notice: AGM & Pub evening - Saturday 29th October.
As I've mentioned above, we've got a Pub and Planning evening on the 17th. These are regular social nights where you're welcome to come just for a drink and a chat. In addition, we'll be penciling in dates for future walks and socials. So, if you'd like to run an event but you need some help planning it or deciding what to do then this is an ideal time to come and chat with us.
Committee roles
We have a number of people wishing to retire from the committee - we'd love to have your help running the club. The roles don't take up much time, but are necessary to keep the club run smoothly. If you're interested, please get in touch with me, one of the committee or a walk leader.
Hope to see you soon.
Colin.
